How the data gets from public sources to your report.
We don't generate data. We join public data, document the join, and ship the result.
What this desk is
ReportSlab is a research desk, not a person with a face. We don't have a founder story to tell. We have a process: pick a sub-niche where buyers can't get the data they need, join the public sources that contain that data, publish the joined result.
The voice on every page is plain English. The data on every page is sourced. The methodology is on every page.
What we publish, and why
Each report sits on one thesis: buyers can't get a specific number publicly, and we can produce that number from free public sources within a week.
If the data is already free and joined somewhere, we don't publish. If the data requires paid tools or proprietary scraping, we don't publish. We publish the gap between the two.
This is why the data survives kill. Even if a report doesn't sell, the underlying dataset can be re-monetized as a different deliverable, a public benchmark, or a future media property.
What's in every report
What you can verify
Every number in every report traces back to a cited public source. The methodology section on each report names the exact sources. The raw data appendix CSVs included with every purchase lets you re-run the analysis yourself.
If you find a number that doesn't trace back, email us. We'll verify and correct the report.
What we don't do
- No custom research. Bespoke sub-niche scoping is a different engagement.
- No advisory services, coaching, or consulting.
- No AI-fabricated data. AI is used for tagging and synthesis. The data points are sourced.
- No paid ads or SEO campaigns. Each report sells via direct outreach to operators in the niche.
- No tracking cookies, retargeting pixels, or advertising profiles.
