What we collect, what we don't, and why.

What we collect

Three things, total.

1. What you give us to buy a report

When you buy a report, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, email, billing address, and payment information. We don't see or store your card number — Stripe does. We see the last 4 digits, the card brand, and the billing address you provided.

We use this information to send you the report and the receipt. We keep it for 7 years because tax law requires us to.

2. Your email if you signed up for the next-sub-niche notification list

If you opted in via the email-capture form on a report page, we store your email in our email list tool (ConvertKit). We use it for one thing: emailing you when the next sub-niche pack ships. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for anything else.

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe is honored within 24 hours.

3. Anonymous usage data

We use Plausible Analytics to count page views and a few key actions (sample-page-scroll, email-capture-submit, checkout-click). Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. The data we see is anonymous aggregate counts.

What we don't collect

• We don't track you across other websites.
• We don't use cookies for advertising or retargeting.
• We don't buy, sell, or trade email lists.
• We don't collect your IP address, device fingerprint, or location beyond country-level aggregate.
• We don't use third-party advertising networks on our pages.

Who has access to your information

Three services, no one else:

• Stripe — payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to the data they collect.
• ConvertKit — email list management. Their privacy policy applies if you're on the list.
• Plausible Analytics — anonymous usage analytics. Privacy policy on their site.

We don't share customer information with anyone else. We don't sell it. We don't trade it. If a court orders us to disclose something, we'll tell you before we comply, where legally permitted.

Your rights

If you're on the email list, you can:

• Unsubscribe (one click in any email).
• Request a copy of every email we have on file for you.
• Request deletion. We delete within 30 days.

If you've bought a report, you can also request the transaction record. Email [email protected].

Data retention

• Transaction records: 7 years (tax law).
• Email list: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
• Anonymous analytics: 24 months, then aggregated further.

Children

ReportSlab does not target children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has bought a report, email us and we'll refund and delete the record.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way, we'll email everyone on the list and post a notice on the homepage. The "Last updated" date below will reflect the change.
